Water Usage
‍As part of our commitment to sustainability, our resort is fully powered by solar energy — including the pump that draws water from our well. During daylight hours, the sun powers the system and provides water freely. However, once the sun sets, the water system relies on a small pressure tank that holds about 10 gallons of reserve capacity. After sunset, please be mindful of water usage, please use the bath and shower during daylight, as the reserve is limited until the sun rises again. The Jacuzzi is a closed system and can be used freely day or night without impacting the water supply. Thank you for helping us protect and preserve this beautiful, off-grid experience.

‍Important Water Notice
Our water comes from a deep, natural well and is rich in iron and other minerals. It is completely safe for drinking, bathing, and everyday use. You may occasionally notice as light brown tint—this is a natural result of the mineral content and is not harmful in any way. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the natural charm of our setting.

Wildlife
‍Kosmos Resort is surrounded by beautiful wildlife, including deer, foxes, birds—and sometimes mice. To keep both guests and animals safe, please keep all doors closed at all times. Wildlife can be curious and may try to enter if given the chance. For your safety and to help protect the local ecosystem, do not feed or approach any animals. We appreciate your care in keeping nature wild and your stay comfortable.
