Experienced Bookkeeper Needed for Startup Environment

We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our dynamic startup team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential, as is the ability to adapt to changing priorities and take initiative. While fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred, it is not mandatory. This part-time position offers payment per hour, providing flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing company.


  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance with relevant requirements.


  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, preferably in a startup or small business environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll processing is a plus.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on new challenges as needed.

Pay:  $25 - 10h
